My effective hourly rate is blank or looks wrong
It needs logged hours and issued invoices, and it counts absorbed costs against you.

The effective hourly rate is what you have invoiced, minus expenses you absorbed, divided by the hours you logged. It stays blank until you log time — an unmeasured rate is not a rate of zero, and Stria will not print a number it cannot stand behind.
- Blank: no hours logged in the period. Run the timer, or add time entries by hand.
- Lower than expected: check for absorbed expenses, and for logged hours that were left billable when they should not have been.
- Higher than expected: check for work you did and never logged. Unlogged hours make the rate read better than it was.
