From a new client to money in the bank

The whole loop once, so the rest of the product makes sense.

Walkthrough · 3 min read

Everything in Stria hangs off a client, and everything you can argue about later hangs off what you agreed. The order below is the order the product expects, and Home walks you through it on a new workspace.

  1. Add the client. An email address is optional — add one when you have it.
  2. Create a deliverable, or a project with several.
  3. Write down what is included and lock it. Locking is what makes every later request judgeable.
  4. Share the review link. Your client opens it without a login and without a seat.
  5. Collect the sign-off. It records who approved what, and against which version.
  6. Invoice. The due date comes from the payment terms you set at setup.

Important: Step three is the one people skip. Until what’s included is LOCKED it protects nothing — the revision meter and the out-of-scope check both read locked records only.

Go to Home — in your Stria workspace.
