Connect Stripe so payments land in your account
Stria charges no platform fee. Payments are taken on your own Stripe account, with your rates, your payout timing and no card details on Stria.

Stria does not sit between you and your money. You connect your own Stripe account, invoices are charged directly on it, and Stria adds no platform fee on top. You keep your own Stripe pricing, your own payment methods and your own payout schedule.
- Open Settings and start the Stripe connection.
- Complete Stripe’s onboarding, or sign in to an account you already have.
- Come back to Stria and refresh the status. Once it reports as ready, invoices can be paid.
Stria never renders a card field. Paying redirects to Stripe’s own hosted page, which keeps card data entirely off Stria and keeps you on the lighter compliance questionnaire. The amount is not carried in the request either: the checkout is asked for an invoice, and the amount, currency and destination are read from that invoice on the server, so no request can be crafted that pays a different figure.
An invoice is only marked paid when Stripe confirms it through a webhook, never because a browser reached a success page it could have typed. If a late fee is applied between two payment attempts, the second attempt raises a fresh checkout rather than replaying the old amount.
Note: On card payments, taking payment on your own account is roughly a wash against a suite that processes in-house. The difference shows up on bank transfer, where Stripe’s own fee is capped per transaction — which matters on the four- and five-figure invoices that usually get paid that way. Confirm current rates with Stripe; published fees change.
You can also record a payment that arrived outside Stripe, for a client who insists on a bank transfer. The invoice settles the same way and appears in the same ledger, so your receivables screen stays true whichever rail the money used.
