Look at any month, quarter or range you like
Every figure on Business health follows one date control, and the thing it compares against is written next to it.

The Period control at the top of Business health sets the span for everything below it — the money figures, the spend breakdown, your clients and your hours. There is one control, not one per panel, so two numbers on the same screen can never be about different spans.
- Presets cover this and last month, this and last quarter, the year so far, and a named calendar year.
- Custom lets you type both ends.
- The choice goes into the address bar, so the link you send opens on the same view you are looking at.
A preset is stored by NAME, not by the dates it worked out to. "This month" in a link you paste today still means this month when somebody opens it next week — which is what you meant — while a custom range is stored as the two dates, because that is what you meant there.
Note: Any change against a previous span names that span in words: "compared with the month before", "compared with the 21 days before". A percentage with no visible denominator is a number nobody can check, so the sentence is always on screen next to it.
Whole calendar months compare against the same number of MONTHS before. Anything else compares against the same number of DAYS. That is why a March range of 21 days is compared with the 21 days before it rather than with February.
Note: The longest range is five years. Ask for more and Stria trims the start rather than quietly scanning your whole history.
